About the wiki & our sources
Minecraft Dungeons 2 Wiki, also called Community Atlas, is an independent fan project for looking up equipment, understanding encounters and planning adventures in Minecraft Dungeons II.
Who creates this site?
The site is maintained as a community project with AI assistance for development, research organization and explanatory text. It is not an official Mojang or Microsoft resource. AI assistance and the number of entries are not evidence that a gameplay claim is correct.
Where the information comes from
The current game-data snapshot is 1.1.1.0. Entry pages link to the sources behind their published values and relationships. Major sources include MetaBot, Wikily and Dungeons.tools. The published stat audit explains the coverage, conflicts and missing formulas.
Source retrieval dates describe when a source was reviewed. They do not mean the values were measured in game on that date. The project has not independently reproduced the published datamines. Exact source links and qualifications take precedence over broad summaries.
How we handle uncertain information
- Published facts: values and conditions recorded by an identified source.
- Derived calculations: results calculated from published inputs, with assumptions explained.
- Conflicts: differing claims remain visible instead of choosing a convenient answer without evidence.
- Unknowns: unpublished damage formulas, probabilities and mechanics stay unknown. Regional loot is not automatically a boss drop.
We do not claim firsthand testing or attach a new verification date solely because the website was rebuilt. The evidence register in the Research Lab records important disagreements and limitations.
What makes a useful correction?
A reproducible correction should identify the page and disputed field, game version, relevant threat or difficulty, item power and conditions, plus a source URL or a description of the test and its sample size. A single observed drop establishes that it happened, not its probability. Personal account details or private messages are not needed to document a game mechanic.
Artwork and attribution
Minecraft and its game artwork belong to their respective owners. Item and creature images retain their source attribution; map artwork and positions are attributed to Wikily within the map. The interface and planning tools are developed for this project. Fonts come from Mojang’s public web-theme font collection under the included SIL Open Font License.
Your saves and privacy
Builds, hero settings and mission progress are stored locally in your browser. Export backups before clearing browser data or moving to another device. Sharing a build or run plan places its selected data in the link fragment so a recipient can preview it; it does not create a server-side save account. Like other hosted websites, the hosting provider handles web requests.
